The new look email alert service will continue to provide you with fortnightly email alerts on current alcohol and other drug-related topics and issues. Subscribers will also receive special offers of free resources and be notified of ADF events and publication releases, including the DrugInfo quarterly prevention publications and facts sheets.

The 6th International Conference on Drugs and Young People is currently underway until Wednesday at the Melbourne Convention Centre. A full report of the conference proceedings will soon be available.

We are seeking contributions to our DrugInfo newsletters. The next three newsletters will focus on:

• Heroin and other opioids
• Older people and AOD
• Information and communication technologies and reducing AOD related harm.

You're invited to contribute an article (a couple of hundred words) or other relevant item for publication in these isses or circulate this to interested parties who might be interested in submitting an article.

We are particularly interested in examples of research being put into practice. News, reviews and event notices are also welcome. You can read our editorial policy here.
